This podcast is for adult learners who are interested in discussing global and cultural issues with students around the world, and improving their English skills while doing so. We use Moodle for the written discussions, Wikispaces for cultural reports and Skype for international conferencing and phone calls.

I'm a recently retired British university teacher of English, living in Finland. I own a small company which gives on line courses and does fast professional language checking and translation work at a reasonable cost, mainly in Finland. I have an adult daughter and a tiny granddaughter who was born three months prematurely on 22nd September this year. I'm creative, romantic and caring. I love my family and friends and all beautiful things.
